Dine with a Detective | How to Investigate a Murder

Come and join Delia’s Canary Catering for a special evening with former Scotland Yard DCI and Criminal Psychologist Steve Gaskin.
Throughout the evening Steve Gaskin will show you how to investigate a murder.
He will take you through a very famous, detailed murder case which is due to be shown on Channel 5, narrated by Steve himself. During the second part you will then get the opportunity to have a go at investigating a murder yourself. Steve has recreated a case he investigated and it is your job to solve it, using a real police case file and expert guidance from Steve.

How do the police investigate a murder case with some famous examples?
Investigate your own case: fingerprints, blood spatter pattern analysis, teeth marks, microscope comparison, witness statements and a CSI Quiz
Take away a case study where the suspects thought they had got away with murder – they didn’t!
Take away some forensic psychology case studies written by Steve. (1) The IQ of Serial Killers (2) How do serial killers mask their behaviour?
This is an evening to get a true crime insight into the investigation of murder and having a go yourself!
