The Fox at Lyng’s #StreetFoodMonday: A Summer Sensation Continues for Seven More Weeks!
The Fox at Lyng has been hosting a wildly successful #StreetFoodMonday event yet another year running, and there are just seven weeks left to savour this culinary celebration before the season comes to a close. This popular event has become a staple for local foodies, bringing together a vibrant array of street food vendors every Monday evening from 5pm to 8pm.
With a spacious beer garden that boasts over 70 covered seats and much more garden seating, visitors can enjoy their meals outdoors, regardless of the unpredictable English weather. For those who prefer the indoors, the cosy interior of The Fox at Lyng provides a perfect setting, and there’s always the option to take the delicious food home.
As we enter the final stretch of the season, The Fox at Lyng will host 14 fantastic local street food businesses. Here’s the exciting lineup for the coming weeks:
- July 22nd: Amma’s Kitchen & Katering 4U – Indulge in delicious curries and a variety of home-baked treats.
- July 29th: Phat Khao & Chocolate Bar Baker – Savour the rich flavours of Thai street food and decadent chocolate desserts.
- August 5th: Harry’s Soul Train & What’s the Scoop – Enjoy soulful dishes and creamy, delightful ice cream.
- August 12th: Churros & Chorizo – Treat yourself to the perfect combination of sweet and savoury bites.
- August 19th: Randy’s Seafood & Norfolk Rolled Ice Cream – Delight in fresh seafood and unique rolled ice cream creations.
- August 26th: Durban Grill & Bakes by Jas – Experience the tastes of South African BBQ and delightful baked goods.
- September 2nd: Moody Cow & The Fox Streetfood – Relish gourmet burgers, steaks & fries and a special offering from The Fox’s own pudding street food lineup.
#StreetFoodMonday has not only provided a platform for local food vendors to showcase their talents but has also become a weekly gathering for the community, bringing people together over shared meals and great conversation.
