Elveden Inn
Welcome to the Elveden Inn, located on the Elveden Estate, family home to the Earl of Iveagh, Edward Arthur Guinness, direct descendent of the famous Irish brewers. His family’s passion for great food and drink transcends into our ethos today.
Produce is sourced from the estate farm and wild countryside wherever possible, then further afield to take advantage of the exceptional array of East Anglian producers that surround us.
Elveden Estate has been owned by the Iveagh family since 1894, having been previously occupied by the Maharajah Duleep Singh, head of the Sikh faith. Duleep Singh was attracted to the estate for its plentiful deer hunting, still a popular activity at Elveden today, with four species roaming wild in the countryside.
Combine your visit to the inn with a trip to our Courtyard Shops. Less than 1 mile from the Elveden Inn, you will find delicious treats, local delights and unusual items in our food hall, cafe restaurant and home and garden shops. Our car park has 60 or more capacity.

Menu
The Elveden Inn’s position on the Norfolk-Suffolk border ensures our kitchen has a plentiful supply of ingredients from the Estate and farm itself, as well as access to a host of fantastic local suppliers. The traditional menu combines the best of seasonal and local produce to provide a relaxed dining experience.
Drink
At the Elveden Inn, we are proud of our pints of Guinness. Elveden is the Guinness family home, so we have ensured that our Guinness tastes just as good as it does in Ireland. You’ll have to try it to test us on that!
We also offer a range of local cask ales, including Elveden IPA. Specifically brewed to our recipe from Local Bury St Edmunds brewers. Classic lager and Aspall Cider. If your favourite tipple is a spirit, you won’t be disappointed. Our range of whiskies, gin, rum, and vodka really does offer something for everyone. Plus, look at our specially selected wine list, with choices from around the world.
