Drinks
We have a range of drinks driven by quality rather than quantity. We believe in sourcing the best possible produce to offer choice and value for money rather than a tiresome range of bland drinks.
Our mixers are supplied by Fever Tree, our juices by Hartridges and we stock a good seelction of different gins including our own Pell & Co Spirits
We aim to utilise our supplier network and bring the best of the British Isles to you when you visit us.
Our cask ale range continually changes and encompasses local breweries, our own Pell & Co Beers and guest beers from all over the UK. Over the busy summer period we can have 5-7 ales on at any time but often do a mini ale festival and have around 17-22 on over a weekend.
We stock a large range of still ciders, often including some unusual flavors. If you are unsure on what to try, why not have one of flights and get 3 3rds, enabling you to try 3 at once!
We can have up to 9 craft keg products on at any time.
Our range out rivals more than any other pub on the broads, apart from our sister pubThe White Horse Neatishead
Takeaway food & drink
Collection available every day 12noon- 3pm & 5pm – 8pm
Orders can be placed via our online ordering site or via the Justeat App
By River
By far the easiest way to find us is by river – we are at the end of Thurne Dyke, just off the River Thurne, about 20 minutes downriver from Potter Heigham or five minutes upriver from Thurne Mouth. Just look for the famous white windmill!
By Road
You’ll find the village of Thurne signposted off the B1152 between Acle and Martham/Potter Heigham. Follow the high street to Thurne Staithe and you can’t miss us!
Locations
We are the closest pub/restaurant to three of the local camping/caravan sites: Woodside Farm, Clippesby Hall and Bureside Holiday Park, being a ten-minute walk from the latter. Or if you’re staying at Hedera House in Thurne, you’ll find us practically next door!
