Tucked away in lovely surroundings it was originally built for the locally renowned and respected Birkbeck family, The Cottage now stands as the ideal venue for your drinking & dining, wedding reception or just for an afternoon meal and drink.

Our restaurant and bar areas offer a relaxed and informal mix of traditional and contemporary, and we are proud of the quality that our experienced chef team produce on a daily basis.

We source all our ingredients fresh from individual butchers, farmers, fishmongers and greengrocers who have traded in Norwich for generations and almost all our meat is provided by local farms. Our menus are extensive and change almost daily to retain their freshness for our regular local customers and we can offer everything from Speciality Curry nights to light lunches and a la carte dinners.
