The Pleasure Boat Hickling
Norfolk Wildlife Trust own the property and are leasing it to Rick and Felicity Malt, who will run the pub, we will work in partnership and are committed to ensuring that the pub works in harmony with the interests of Norfolk Wildlife Trust, including aligning with our core values and playing a valuable role in welcoming people to Hickling Broad and Marshes to enjoy and learn about the area and its special wildlife
The bar is open everyday: Sunday – Thursday: 12pm – 10pm Friday and Saturday 12pm- 11pm
Food is served daily between the times of 12pm – 3pm and 5pm – 8pm
Please note last orders 15 minutes prior to end of service
Family friendly throughout with baby changing facilities in both mens and ladies bathrooms.
We also have a selection of games located in the snug area to use.
We have invested to ensure that the pub is now accessible to those with mobility impairments. There are dedicated and paved accessible parking spaces, level access into the pub as well as new accessible toilets.
Dog friendly we love dogs nearly as much as we love beer!
You are more than welcome to dine with your dog (subject to availability)
We will happily provide a dog bowl and treat for your pooch just ask the bar or use the water station in the garden!
Parking is available there is a free car park situated as you drive in. There are no marked spots, other than the disabled parking, so we do ask you park responsibly allowing as many cars to fit as possible.
There are several free moorings available right outside the pub. These are available to pub customers for up to 48 hours.

We aim to ensure that the pub works in harmony with the interests of Norfolk Wildlife Trust. As such we will operate with a strong focus on the environment and sustainability, such as reducing the use of plastic, using locally sourced ingredients and exploring ways of harnessing green energy where possible.
We will employ best practice standards in the recruitment and management of their staff and are committed to working in partnership with local communities to ensure they are a great neighbour, and provide a welcoming and accessible offer for all.
