Situated on Rollesby Broad, The Waterside is home to their cafe / tearoom with family facilities that include a boat tour, a wildlife hide, children’s play area and a putting green.

A Guided tour of Rollesby Broad on the beautiful Edwardian launch Gentleman Jim.
See the stunning scenery & wildlife whilst listening to local knowledge from their experienced helmsman (trips last approximately 30 minutes).
Price – £4.75 Per Adult, £3.25 Per Child (Aged 2 to 12 years) Over 60’s £3.95
(Life jackets are provided for children & must be worn. Adult life jackets are also provided upon request)
Trips run daily from 11am to 4pm every hour. (1st April to 30th September)
(Subject to weather conditions, breakdown, reed coverage & licensing)
Please note that dogs are unable to join you on the tour boat!
Family fun
Treat your Family & Friends to a fun filled time on the 9 hole rural grass putting course for only £2.95 per person or the children can let off steam on the wooden play area (Suitable for younger children & they must be accompanied by an adult at all times)
View the local wildlife
From the common mallards and coots to their resident families of grebes and herons.
You maybe lucky to spot the harriers and kingfishers and even very occasionally the booming bitterns!
These can be seen from the alfresco terrace overlooking the water, the Gentleman Jim tour boat or alternatively, from their own bird hide.
The premises are available for private parties & functions, including wakes. Evenings are also available at the venue, which can include guided mini tours of the broad (licensed bar available).

Furry Friends:
Well behaved Dogs on leads are welcome inside the café & outside on the terrace. Unfortunately, they are not allowed in the play area or the tour boat.
Accessibility:
They have disabled access into the restaurant & onto the terrace.
The Car Park is covered in light gravel, & we have disabled spaces available not far from the main entrance.
There is also a drop off point directly outside of the café.
