Crawfish Inn Thursford
A Victorian red-brick pub on the Holt to Fakenham road makes an unlikely setting for a genuine Thai restaurant, but Siropas Rangphet and his wife have succeeded in turning it into a special mix of Norfolk country inn and ethnic eating house.
At the Crawfish Thai Restaurant we have attempted to create authentic Thai cuisine, by obtaining the finest ingredients from Thailand. That’s why you’ll find dishes seasoned with kaffir lime leaves, Thai basil, Pandun leaf and other essential ingredients. The combination of classical Thai authentic seasoning with fresh local produce gives us great freedom to create an extraordinary array of distinctive dishes, from the pleasantly mild to the intensely spicy. So no matter what your palate, our dishes are freshly cooked to your liking.
Built in 1833, The Crawfish Inn, located on the main Fakenham to Holt Road (A148), is the only public house in Thursford village.
As a Free House we have a wide range of drinks to suit your tastes, from local cask ales to a popular range of draught beers, and extensive wine list.
We have a warm and friendly bar area, ideal for enjoying a social drink and get together. For a less informal dinner food can also be served in the bar area.
We also have a garden which is dog friendly, where drinks and food can be enjoyed in the warmer summer evenings.
