The Bucks Arms
The Buckinghamshire Arms is a 17th century former coaching inn that was reopened by Colchester Inns in 2013. Situated just a mile outside the town of Aylsham and adjacent to the stunning Blickling Hall, The Bucks offers a traditional English pub feel, with picturesque surroundings and plenty of history – while being within easy reach of other amenities and attractions.

Table Reservations
Booking ahead is strongly advised for inside tables – please book online or give us a call on 01263 732133. Tables in the garden are available on a walk-in basis, so feel free to come along and we’ll seat you.
Please be aware that for Sunday lunch, or reservations before 7.30pm on Friday/Saturday evenings, we allocate 2 hours per booking.

Our food is freshly cooked so we can modify many menu items to cater for those on special diets such as gluten or dairy free.

Dog Policy
We are a dog-friendly pub and welcome well-behaved dogs on leads in the garden, bar and one area of the restaurant. Dogs are also welcome in some of our guest bedrooms, Dogs are charged at £15 per stay.
Please mention when booking if you are bringing a dog so that an appropriate table or room may be allocated.
If dining with your dog we ask that owners be sensitive to other guests. If a dog needs food or water please take them outside where water bowls are provided.
Celebrations
Unfortunately, due to a lack of facilities in which to keep them safe until required, we can no longer accept cakes brought in by customers. As an alternative we are very happy to provide candles and plates decorated with a celebratory message for the special person(s), should they wish to order dessert. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or upset this may cause, and thank you for your understanding.

Boasting four unique bedrooms, The Bucks Arms offers luxury Bed & Breakfast with fantastic views of the surrounding Blickling Estate.
Three of our rooms feature original four-poster beds and all are made up with the finest linen for a comfortable night’s sleep. Extra beds can be placed in most rooms at an additional cost of £15 per night.
