The Longe Arms

Great to see the pints flowing again at a village pub with a new family behind the bar.

Daryl Jones, 39, and his wife Carly, 34, have taken on The Longe Arms in Spixworth which they will be giving a “new lease of life”.

The couple moved from Sprowston to Spixworth nearly three years ago with their three children and Mr Jones says the running of the pub will be a real family affair.

Mr Jones, a chef who previously worked at Bure River Cottage, hopes to bring back nice local food to the pub by serving locally produced, handmade food.

As well as the usual pub grub, we’ll be doing roasts and our take on traditional dishes.

We will also be serving Strangers Coffee which should really help us push it forward.
